Universal Human Rights and Political Theory
During the IAPSS Autumn Convention in Nijmegen we will research the universality of human rights from three different angles: political theory, international relations and comparative politics.
In Political Theory different philosophers look at the universality of human rights. Immanuel Kant was a strong believer in universal human rights, but Jeremy Bentham called them “simple nonsense”.
